Combat exposure, repeated crisis calls, and years of holding the line change how a person responds to stress, and effective treatment has to account for that. At Merritt Recovery, the Veterans and First Responders Program pairs trauma-focused care, including EMDR therapy, with group work that respects the culture you or your loved one comes from. Peers who understand the job make those sessions easier to open up in. Admissions are handled confidentially. When applicable, our team coordinates with VA benefits so coverage questions do not stall the care you need. You are not walking in alone.
