Medication Management
Medication management pairs prescribed medicine with regular check-ins from our clinical team, and it forms one of the core parts of treatment planning at Merritt Recovery. We watch how each medication affects you or your loved one, adjust doses when needed, and coordinate every change with the rest of your care.
How Medication Management Works in Treatment
Medication management is the ongoing process of prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting the medications used in your recovery. In a typical session, a licensed clinician reviews how you or your loved one is feeling, checks for side effects, and asks about sleep, mood, and cravings. The dose or the medication itself may change as symptoms shift.
This care supports withdrawal, cravings, depression, anxiety, and other conditions that often sit alongside addiction. It is never a standalone fix. Your clinicians fold it into the full treatment plan and refine it as progress is made.
