Distance does not have to complicate treatment. If you or your loved one is coming from out of the area, our admissions team helps arrange travel, including flights, and coordinates pickup once you land. You handle the decision to come. We handle getting you here safely.
How We Handle Travel
Distance should not decide where you or your loved one gets care. Many of the people who come to Merritt Recovery travel from outside the area, and our admissions team handles the logistics so the trip itself never becomes an obstacle. Once your bed is confirmed, we start working on the arrival details with you.
Here is what we help coordinate:
- Booking flights, and helping you find a departure time that fits the admission schedule
- Pickup at the airport by a member of our staff, so no one is left waiting or trying to find a ride
- A clear packing list and guidance on what to leave at home
- Direct transport to the facility once you land
For a family member sending someone off, this is often the hardest part, watching them leave and hoping they get there safely. We stay in contact through each step and confirm a safe arrival with you. If you are flying with your loved one, we can plan around that too.
